The school is open for a total of 32.5 hours per week from 8:30am to 3:10pm daily. This does not include before or after-school activities.

The school gates open at 8.20am and are locked at 8.40am.  All lessons start at 8.40am.  Once the gates are shut, puoils arriving after this time will be marked as late and given a one hour after school detention. 

We are aware there are exceptional circumstances where pupils cannot help arriving late and the Attendance Team will review these on an individual basis.  It is the responsibility of the pupils and their families to ensure that they arrive to school on time.

Please ensure a written message is sent into school with the pupil when they have to leave the Academy for medical and dental appointments during the school day.
